A visit from probably our oldest living past customer Joe Gainey 94

Last week Nathan was delighted to have a visit from probably our oldest living past customer.

Joe Gainey 94 (accompanied by Des Rowe) called in to have a look around the site to see how it has changed since his retirement from the Blacksmiths in Longdowns just under 20 years ago.

Joe and Des (who retired after 50 years back in 2008) were reminiscing of how they first had dealings with each other back in the summer of 1958 when Des first started working with SJ Andrew as a teenager and Joe had the Forge at the Turnpike in Helston.
